It was a wonderful event on a warm sunny afternoon (70 degrees finally!) highlighted with the beautiful flora of the cherry trees displaying their peak bloom.
It was an atmosphere filled with tourist scurrying through the blossoms to the Jefferson Memorial to rest on the steps. The Washington Monument showed brightly in the western sunset while assorted office inspired co-ed softball teams pitched and batted away. The feeling in the air was truly the arrival of Spring 2018.
Having my camera gave me the opportunity to capture the moment. And I wasn’t alone…
Whether snapping selfies with a camera phone, learning new equipment and techniques with their latest holiday gift, or working professionally for a client - photographers were everywhere and having a great time!
Remember - add to your skills, practice often to capture great shots, AND take a well- deserved break to enjoy the moment. I certainly did!
